Cornish Baking Morning

Our Cornish baking morning is a fantastic opportunity for you to cook up a delicious Cornish lunch with some pasties and a lovely box of scones, jam and clotted cream to take home.

What you’ll be making

A proper Cornish pasty

Light as air scones with jam and clotted cream

How will the day run?

You’ll enjoy a pastry and hot (or cold) drink on arrival. You’ll then go on to prepare the perfect pastry for your pasty. You then go on to make the filling before assembling and learning how to master the perfect crimp!

Whilst the pasties are baking, you’ll finally prepare the lightest of scones to take home as well as a seasonal jam and clotted cream to enjoy.

During the day you’ll also see how to make some delicious Cornish fairings, a classic spiced cookie that originated in Truro!
