On Thursday evening, a group of aspiring Thai chefs enjoyed a night of delicious food, wine, and conversation while learning authentic Thai cooking techniques from expert chef Natashca Nyak of My Mum Makes.
The evening began with a live demonstration of Thai fish cakes paired with a fragrant Ajaad dipping sauce. Participants then moved to their own masterchef-style stations to prepare dishes including Pork Larb, Pad Thai, and Tom Kha Gai, all under Natashca’s expert guidance.
For dessert, guests savoured sticky mango rice while hearing Natashca share stories of her upbringing in Thailand. It was a delight to hear about her fascinating life journey and to learn so many of her invaluable kitchen tips and techniques.
