Join professional chef Ben Arthur for a vibrant, hands-on cookery experience inspired by the bold flavours, street food culture and fire-cooking traditions of South America.

Drawing on more than a decade of experience cooking at festivals, events and live-fire food experiences, Ben will guide participants through the techniques used to create some of the most popular and crowd-pleasing dishes found at food festivals across the UK and beyond.

Using charcoal, fire and fresh ingredients, participants will learn how to prepare and cook a selection of South American-inspired favourites, including tacos, burritos and quesadillas, while discovering the secrets behind great marinades, flavour combinations and live-fire cooking.

Ben will demonstrate:

Hands-On Workshop

Participants will prepare marinades and seasonings before cooking meats and vegetables over live fire.

Street Food Build Session

Create:

– Tacos

– Burritos

– Quesadillas

Along with a range of fresh accompaniments, salsas and garnishes.

Create, Cook & Plate

Participants will assemble and present their finished dishes while learning simple presentation techniques inspired by modern street food vendors.

Presentation & Tasting

Enjoy your creations, compare flavour combinations and celebrate the skills learned throughout the session.

About Chef Ben Arthur

Chef Ben Arthur has over 25 years of experience working in some of the UK’s most respected kitchens, including Michelin-starred restaurants, award-winning hotels, and large-scale events. Trained through the renowned Jamie Oliver Fifteen programme, Ben has gone on to lead teams as Head Chef, develop food products, run festivals and events, and work as a hospitality consultant.

Passionate about great ingredients, food science, sustainability and sharing knowledge, Ben’s classes combine professional techniques with a relaxed, engaging teaching style. Whether you’re looking to build confidence in the kitchen or learn new skills, Ben believes cooking should be accessible, enjoyable and full of flavour.
